OVO Energy is one of the UK's leading retail energy suppliers, pioneering smart-home technologies. There, I develop colleague-facing applications that enable on-site teams to install smart meters.

• Developed backend microservices in Kotlin/Quarkus - both serverless Lambdas and long-running.
• Contributed to the web app using React and TypeScript and the Android mobile app using Flutter.
• Maintained our AWS infrastructure via Terraform - provisioning ECS clusters, API Gateway endpoints, Lambda functions, RDS databases, S3 buckets, Cognito authentication.
• Built automated data pipelines to stream service events into BigQuery for reporting.
• Maintained our monitoring in Grafana self-hosted service.

• Contributed to core microservices built with Kotlin/Quarkus and PostgreSQL.
• Built HTTP to SOAP adapter layer, enabling seamless integration with legacy SOAP web services.
• Built CI/CD pipelines for frontend and backend applications using CircleCI and GitHub Actions.

Intensive bootcamp in software fundamentals and web development with Java. Covered OOP, DSA, relational databases and built a full-stack app with Java, Spring, MariaDB, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

B2C e-commerce store for designing and producing personalized laser-cut gifts. As a team, we reached 2,500+ unit sales annually and co-created the flagship product, brand identity, and visual design.
